Lots of corrosion on what I think is a zinc base

Sanded the metal bits and began reassembly 
First problem, the fiber gear on the reciprocating mechanism was falling apart 
After some failed attempts at repair, I 3D printed a replacement gear which worked great after a bit of filing

The original blades were in rough shape, the wrong color, and fell apart when disassembling. I cut new ones out of foam rubber 
3D printed clips used to hold the new blades in, in addition to some glue
